The style of the images has to catch your eye. It’s important to look across a range of work by the photographer to check if the style is consistently to your liking.
You must feel that the photographer, who will be with you for a large part of the day, has an empathy with you. Relaxed, informal and natural images are better captured by someone who works confidently, but in an unobtrusive manner.
|Q: Can I see examples of your albums?||
A: Certainly. In fact, it is advisable that you see a few albums to get a feel for the style of my work and also to assess the quality of the albums themselves. You are very welcome to come to my studio, or if we are some distance apart, we can meet half way. Call me now to arrange a time to meet:
|Q: Who will photograph my wedding?||A: Me, Mark Green. I will only book the number of weddings that I can photograph personally. You will not get another photographer on the day. We will already have met and you will be guided by someone you already know on your special day.|
|Q: Will we be confused by a myriad of package options?||A: Some photographers offer many different “packages” which I always think confuses rather than helps. I keep it simple by offering three styles of high quality albums, The Coffee Table Album, The Artbook & the Panoramic and they all provide you with a digital archive of your photos on a professionally authored DVD. When we meet, I will show you examples of them all.|
|Q: What will our wedding photography cost?||A: I will explain the range of pricing to you personally, but your investment in the photography of your day will be from £999 depending on your package selection. Further information is shown on the Pricing page.|
|Q: Rather than an album, can we simply have the digital files?||A: With each album option, I have taken the innovative approach of offering a full, professional DVD which also includes the PRINTABLE high-resolution image files. But if you prefer not to have an album, that’s not a problem.|
|Q: How do we get to view or photographs?||A: After editing of the images has taken place, your pictures will appear on your own password protected area of this website. I will email you with the password which you may then forward to family & friends who can then re-live your day again. You will also receive a presentation on DVD so that you may view your the images on your TV, Home Cinema system or on your computer and share them with friends and work colleagues. You also receive a draft design for your album as a starting point for you to consider.|
|Q: Do you request a Booking Deposit?||A: We do please. For weddings, a deposit of £300 secures your date in my diary, with the balance of the fee payable 30 days before the wedding.|
|Q: How far do you travel?||A: Well, the record so far is Mauritius! Other destination weddings include the Canadian Rockies, Las Vegas and a château in France. I travel to venues all over the UK, many of which are within a 150 mile round trip from my central base in Warwickshire. Outside that distance, we charge 45p / mile to cover fuel costs.|
|Q: How do you handle the Group Photos?||A: The majority of shots taken during the day are done in our informal style, but a wedding is a great family gathering and a collection of 6-8 group shots covering most combinations is recommended. I do this quickly and efficiently so that guests are not left waiting around. Your choice of groups is discussed before the big day.|
|Q: Will you take over my wedding?||A: No, I shall always try to get the formal part of your photography done as soon as possible. Once group shots are over and I have taken your bridal couple images, I unobtrusively mingle with the guests to capture the informal, reportage style pictures.|
